Data sovereignty
Your data lives on Swiss soil under Swiss law, outside foreign reach, in a neutral jurisdiction.
We help any company establish true data sovereignty in Switzerland: sovereign, neutral-jurisdiction backup you own outright. We're your independent consultants. We register and configure every service, then guide you to purchase directly with the Swiss vendors, at their price. You own the contracts; we charge only for our consulting and our HUD.
Your whole backup environment as a living map: every Swiss S3 datacenter (Infomaniak, Exoscale, cloudscale.ch, Xelon, Green, Swisscom and Safe Swiss Cloud), with your Remote Office and HQ streaming in over the WAN. The button switches views between the Swiss map, the blue-Earth globe, and the galaxy star-map. Hover a node for its status, or simulate a solar storm (the live HUD reads a real NOAA SWPC feed; here it's a button).
We design your sovereign backup, set it all up, and put the keys in your hands. You buy the Swiss services directly, at cost, with no markup and no lock-in. We bill only for our expertise and our monitoring HUD.
Map your data-residency, compliance and retention requirements against Swiss law and your industry.
We provision every service: S3 / Object Storage, Swiss Backup, kDrive, and a ZFS NAS. Then we document it all.
We guide your purchase straight from the Swiss vendors (Infomaniak, Geneva). You hold the account and the keys.
A proven 3-layer architecture (local → ZFS NAS → Swiss S3 offsite), tested, documented, and yours to run.
Fast working copies on-site, verified by files and freshness rather than assumptions.
A triple-mirror ZFS array on your LAN (10 GbE): self-healing, snapshotted, verified.
Offsite to Infomaniak Swiss Backup over S3: sovereign, encrypted, neutral-jurisdiction.
The Boreon Swiss Backup HUD · built with KWAM
Our HUD turns your entire backup environment into a live, flyable star map. Every destination is a star orbiting the core, with honest, real-time status. It even watches the sun: a real NOAA space-weather feed flags when a solar storm could disrupt a transfer, so you never trust a backup the cosmos was fighting.
Local, your 12 TB ZFS array, and Swiss S3 in Geneva, all probed live and shown as orbiting stars.
A visual alert when geomagnetic / solar activity may impede backups. It stays honest and never turns alarmist.
rsync · sftp · ftp · ftps · nfs · ssh · scp · s3 · webdav. Add unlimited targets.
Reachable is never called Verified. No "zero data loss." Unconfigured shows an honest state.
Keys live only in your environment. We read them, but never store them and never send them to us.
"Electric Auth Blue": status by luminance, shape, motion & label; color-blind-safe, crisp to 8K.
The HUD is the view. Underneath it is a working NMS: a poller that checks the pathway your data travels into Switzerland, an alerting engine, a diagnostics toolbench, and a full operator console, watching source → gateway → encrypted transfer → your Swiss destination → snapshot, end to end.
ICMP, TCP, HTTP, DNS, SNMP, S3, WebDAV and restic checks, run by one honest probe engine. A missing prober records unknown, never a fabricated OK.
An open → escalate → close state machine with worst-wins rollup, so one bad leg surfaces at the host level instead of hiding in a sea of green.
Ping, traceroute, mtr, dig, whois, curl, nc, and snmpget, streamed live, plus a one-shot key-authenticated SSH runner, right from the console.
Time-series history per check, with honest uptime and latency stats, so you can see the pathway's real track record, not a marketing number.
Overview, hosts, checks, alerts, lineage, network tools, an SSH terminal, backups, sources, credentials, security & audit, and SLA reports, one login.
Bcrypt operator login with RFC 6238 two-factor authentication and an OIDC SSO seam, CSRF-protected on every write, with rotating, secret-scrubbed audit logs.

The Swiss Backup HUD was developed in partnership with KWAM (the founder's personal life mission), reusing KWAM's honest, fault-tolerant patterns. KWAM's commercial license commits CHF 5 million to feeding hungry children worldwide. Your sovereign backup helps carry that covenant.
